A Little About Me...
|
My name is Michael Louis Crook. I graduated from Indian River High School in 1991. I currently live in Bad Aibling, Germany. I have been in Germany since June 1997. I moved here from Virginia Beach, Virginia, when I joined the U.S. Army. I am currently pursuing a computer science degree with the University of Maryland. Upon getting out of the military, in October of 2000, I will return to Virginia to complete my degree.

My parents are Mark and Rita Crook. My father was born and raised in Lisbon, Ohio, and my mother in Quincy, Massechusetts. I was blessed with three wonderful sisters. Jenny, the oldest of my sisters, has graduated from Longwood College. She is now teaching in Virginia Beach, Virginia. My middle sister, Jaime, is a pharmaceutical tech for Walmart. She lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her son, Justin. My youngest sister, Kim is a manager of an Uncle Harry's Ice Cream Store in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She lives with her husband, Jeff.

These are some of the people I am lucky enough to be friends with. First, there's Matt Bailey. I have known Matt my whole life. Our mothers went to high school together. Matt now lives in Roanoke, Virginia. I spent a lot of time hanging out with Matt and his older brother, John, my last couple of years in Virginia. John stills lives in Chesapeake, Virginia. I have had some of the best times of my life with them. Another friend of ours is Mark Dominesey. I have known Mark since the 9th grade, even though we never really hung out until after high school. Everything about Mark is unique, which is what makes him so great. He is the person I can thank for introducing me to mountain biking. He has been one of the best friends I have ever had. Mark now lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, with his wife Jennie. The coolest person I have ever known is Danny Brooke. He is a great friend. I love Danny like a brother. I can't leave out Reuben Nimmer. He is the best friend I have made since being in the army. We had some great times together, from our trips to Amsterdam and Venice, to just hanging out with our wacko girlfriends. He is one person I hope to always stay in contact with. He now lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I have had the best times of my life with theses people and I love them all like family.
